What we provide
Online Nikkah
This is our standard nikkah service where we conduct the ceremony on a zoom video link via email and invite all participants which will include:
- Groom
- Bride
- Wali (Compulsory unless bride is a revert)
- Officiator
- 2x Muslim Male Witnesses (We provide 1 witness, you will need to provide 1 more.)
The officiator will start the call with an introduction of the couple and the witnesses.
The officiator will then announce the Mahr and the acceptance of the Mahr from the Bride.
The officiator will then ask the Groom if he accepts the Bride to be married to him with accordance to the teachings of Islam with God (Allah) as his witness.
The officiator will confirm the witnesses heard the exchange.
Once confirmed the couple will then be married !
The officiator will then send a copy of the Marriage contract via the provided email.
This call will last around 20-30 minutes.
Interfaith Nikkah
An interfaith Nikkah is the marriage between a Muslim man and a believing monotheist woman from either the Christian or Jewish faith.
The interfaith Nikkah will work in the exact same format as the online Nikkah. It will be conducted via zoom video link sent to the email provided.
The ceremony will include:
- Groom
- Bride (Must be people of the book i.e Jew or Christian)
- Wali (Officiator will be the Wali)
- Officiator
- 2x Muslim Male Witnesses (We only provide 1 witness, you will have to bring another)
The call will last around 20 minutes.
PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT OFFICIATE A MARRIAGE BETWEEN A MUSLIM WOMAN AND A NON-MUSLIM MAN AS THIS IS COMPLETELY HARAM.
