What is an online Nikah ?
The virtual nikkah is an online marriage officiation done in accordance to the teachings of Islam.
A Nikkah is a religious marriage for a Muslim to be wed under Islamic law and principles.
Once a Mahr (Gift or money contribution from Groom to Bride) is agreed between the man and woman.
Both parties must say ‘I accept’ in front of two male Muslim witnesses in the presence of the Wali (Guardian of Bride) the couple will then be permissibly married under Islamic law.
As it is an online Nikkah the entire process is done via video call.
Our Purpose
The purpose of our service is to make the nikkah process simple, inexpensive and accessible to everyone!
In Islam, it’s not permitted for a couple to be intimate without a Nikah, so the ceremony legitimizes the relationship in front of Allah.
Our main objective is to help our fellow Muslims make their relationship Halal and to prevent any sin from occurring.
By making our service virtual and online based it allows us to reach more couples seeking to tie the knot without having to be present in the same space or having to go through the stressful process of organizing an event and locating a masjid which is not always available.
